Our Vision
Starting from the IRISUN range, the high quality acrylic fabrics for indoor and outdoor use, we wanted to create a new virtuous business process that allows waste and pollution to be reduced, transforming the textile industry by-products into a new resource.
The project aims to give a concrete answer to the need to recover the processing by-products generated by the awning industry. This need starts from the awareness that, for each tent made, about 8% of the fabric is discarded.
The company's Research and Development department, together with a team of highly specialized textile recovery chemists, has designed and developed a mass-dyed outdoor acrylic fiber recycling system. The material used comes entirely from fabrics for acrylic curtains with OEKO-TEX® certification and consists of a by-product that up until now had no real reuse, but was disposed of in landfills in accordance with current legislation, constituting a polluting load for the environment and high costs for the company.
The result is a winning solution and excellent results have been achieved in terms of quality and sustainability.
