How we do it

Raytent is upcycling

The project aims to involve the entire chain of packagers to recover the cuttings from the realization of the awnings, unravel them and, produce a cotton-type yarn through dedicated machines suitable to be subsequently reused. This process reduces the consumption of raw materials (monomers and solvents for example) and reduces the production processes of the fabric with a significant impact in the long term.

Raytent yarns contain a percentage of recycled fiber ranging from 50 to 70% of the weight of the product itself, in blends with other preselected natural and synthetic fibers. These are high quality fabrics as they have all the features that give high performance to our awning fabrics. Therefore features such as color fastness to UV rays, stain-resistant and anti-mold behavior are preserved.
