Giovanardi proposes a new way of conceiving and experiencing indoor and outdoor spaces based on respect for the environment, the enhancement of comfort and the celebration of design.

Raytent becomes life style in a stand of more than 90 square metres, where recycling meets design to give shape to high-end textile furnishing accessories. The exhibition follows the movements of warp and weft in an interweaving of yarns, fabrics, textures and colours that highlight the green soul of the products.
Raytent is the first mass-dyed recycled acrylic yarn that is pre-consumer, certified ReMade in Italy, created to recover sun awning production waste through a process that uses less water, fewer chemicals and greatly limits CO2 emissions. The Raytent technology is developed at Giovanardi to reduce our impact on the planet and to ensure a more sustainable future. The textile articles from this virtuous process are used for furnishing objects developed with important market partners.

Once again, this year, a prominent area is dedicated to indoor/outdoor carpets from the Raytent Yarn collection. On show, Made-in-Italy carpets made by Mariantonia Urru, an ancient Sardinian weaving mill, which is one of the few remaining textile craft workshops in Italy. A second interesting collaboration results in the carpets designed by Paolo Zani and produced by Warli, a Milan-based company with an international outlook, which has chosen Raytent yarns to create new environmentally friendly collections. In this edition, the exhibition hosts seats and sofas by Roda and Nardi, two leading companies with an environmentally responsible attitude based on a careful selection of materials for sustainable design. Roda enhances the Raytent yarn through ropes and belts specially developed for its collections, including Laze and Piper. The cushions are upholstered in a Raytent Living fabric designed to have texture, strength and design all in one with exclusive colours. Another interesting collaboration is with Nardi, a well-known brand that has always had a strong focus on the environment, starting with its own production chain. With the aim of providing high quality, safe and environmentally friendly products, Nardi has developed a proposal for Salone with fabrics from the Raytent Living collection to dress the Folio armchair in Raytent version as first preview.

The new Soundflex sound-absorbing panels from Giovanardi's Tensilence brand, which for the first time are covered with recycled Raytent fabric, are also on show. Sustainability meets acoustic comfort for all-round well-being. On this occasion, the catalogue of the new collection of Tensilence sound absorbing panels, characterised by new shapes and unprecedented designs, is shown for the first time.
Another eagerly awaited novelty is Raytent Drapery, the new collection of nine colours where the fabric is light and breathable, with a weave that opens up and becomes soft. Designed with three-metre height as a tribute to the beauty of the drapes, Raytent Drapery suits both indoors and outdoors.
The fabrics in the Raytent Shade collection weave horizontally to evoke the comfort of a sun shading. These fabrics are stiff to the touch, treated for a high water and oil resistance and the colours, when exposed to UV, remain unchanged over time.

Raytent also enters the world of lighting with a floor lamp with a lampshade made of recycled Raytent fabric. The floor lamp is developed with the Croatian company Lika and exhibited for the first time at Salone del Mobile.
Finally, the Giovanardi's Irisun Living collections, which represent the perfect combination of form and content, design and quality, are also on show. Innovative fabrics designed to furnish indoor and outdoor spaces with fresh colour solutions and exclusive materials for contemporary comfort. The Irisun acrylic fabrics are of high quality and fully recyclable using the Raytent process.
Don't miss Mario Cucinella's large installation in S. Project Hall 15, dedicated to the circular economy as a key element for the future of living. In this project, Raytent represents a virtuous path to reducing environmental impact in the urban contexts of the future.

Raytent offers you a full range of textile products that are embracing in their colours, captivating in their textures and performing in their features, to furnish indoor and outdoor environments in perfect harmony with nature.
